

Obviously you don't have to play the whole segment, just the beginnings and ends of each segment, in order, to make sure they match up with the next one. Then go into the STREAM folder and play the individual segments in order of the proposed PL/SM, using a player like VLC, to make sure the ends and beginnings of each segment in the list match up. To do that, use the MakeMKV "Backup" command to rip the entire BluRay to your HDD. You should always verify the PL/SM to be the correct one for your disk before you rip the title.


Disks with seamless branching are issued in different versions with different playlists/segment-maps for the main title. However, in regards to titles with seamless branching, don't ever take a playlist/segment-map you find on the Internet on faith to be correct.
